Make your own wooden utensil from scratch! Learn how to use the bandsaw and our various sanding equipment to make your own kitchenware.

Pumpkin Lantern

Carve your very own Jack’O’Lantern…. Out of metal! Learn how to use our plasma cutter to make your very own scary dude!

Acrylic LED Light

Design it in Illustrator, cut it with the laser, and leave with your own glowing neon-style sign.

Music Box

Build your box on the tablesaw, add a light-activated music circuit, and make it play a tune every time it opens.

Skills learned: tablesaw, mitersaw, making angled cuts with miter saw, making slots/slits

When: Nov 13, 5 – 7 p.m.

Cork Coasters

Design cork coasters in Illustrator, cut them with the laser, and personalize a wooden holder to go with them.

Skills learned: Illustrator basics, editing images in illustrator, preparing a laser file in illustrator, Trotec, basic laser stuff

When: Nov 20, 5 – 7 p.m.

Stratasys Ornaments

Learn to add textures and paint in Blender, prep your model, and 3D print your custom design to pick up later.

Skills learned: Blender,  UV mapping, photo texture application, and texture painting. Additionally, GrabCAD (the Polyjet slicer).

When: Dec 4, 5 – 7 p.m.
